Pupils across Jersey are receiving their A Level results and have beaten their UK counterparts this year.

Jersey's students are celebrating some 'record-breaking' results at a few schools in the island.

The overall pass rate for Jersey's A Level results was 98.6%, compared to 97.4% in England.

More than a quarter of pupils achieved A* and A, more than three-quarters between A* and C.

A total of 523 Jersey students were entered for 1,355 A Level examinations.

Minister for Education and Lifelong Learning, Deputy Rob Ward, is congratulating all those receiving A-Level and Level 3 qualification results today.

"This is an important milestone for you, which marks the start of your next chapter.

"Whether you go to university, undertake vocational studies, or join the world of work, this achievement is a testament to your hard work and dedication.

"I’d also like to thank teachers, support staff, parents, and carers for the important role they’ve played in helping you get to this point.

"Whatever you choose to do next, I wish you all the very best of luck for the future."

Jersey College for Girls:

At Jersey College for Girls, 264 exams were taken, and all passed.

Of those passes, 38% were A* or A, 68% between A* and B, and 93% were A* to C.

Principal Carl Howarth says these young women are our future doctors, engineers, biochemists, teachers, accountants, historians, economists, diplomats and more.

"We are so proud of them and thank them, their parents, and our staff at JCG for the impact they have had on their lives, the culture, and the aspirations of our college.

"We congratulate this cherished generation of tenacious, resilient, courageous and kind young women.

"These results now take them to universities across the UK, Europe and the USA, or into purposeful employment within our island."

Victoria College:

Students at Victoria College saw record-high A-Level results, with A*s increasing by 5% compared to 2024.

16 young men achieved a sweep of A*s or As, and 90% of the cohort received A* to C.

Headteacher Dr Gareth Hughes is delighted to see record results, saying he could not be prouder of their hard work and perseverance over the last few years.

"They are the group that started Victoria College with me in 2018, and it has been a privilege to have witnessed their growth and development.

"There are so many success stories in this group, and they leave with outstanding qualifications that will pave the way for the rest of their lives, in whatever ventures they embark upon.

"I will certainly miss them all and wish them every success."

Highlands:

Highlands College is celebrating 'excellent' results for 2025, with 97% of its students passing their professional and technical qualifications at an Advanced Level.

Alongside this, around 9 in 10 pupils have already secured a job or have a place at university.

Principal Jo Terry-Marchant says the faculty are incredibly proud of our students, who have shown determination, adaptability, and resilience throughout their studies.

"Their achievements reflect both their hard work and the dedication of our staff.

"Whether progressing to university, higher apprenticeships, or employment, our students are ready for the future.

"Standards continue to go up, and our students have met the challenge."

Beaulieu:

Young women at Beaulieu are celebrating record-breaking results as the school celebrates its 'best ever' A Level and Level 3 results day.

11% of the cohort opened their envelopes to see straight A*s and As.

More than 18% of the girls received grades at A* to A, around 2 in 3 students got between A* and B, and 82% got grades between A* and C.

Headteacher Matthew Burke says he is incredibly proud of every single one of his students.

"These results are the culmination of years of dedication, hard work, and the unwavering support of their teachers, families and peers.

"As our leavers take their next steps, they carry with them the values that have shaped them since their first days here.

"They will always be part of the Beaulieu community, and I know they will go on to make a difference in the world."

De La Salle:

More than a third of all grades were in the 'highest performance bracket', with the young men having 'exceeded' their expected levels of performance.

Head of College, Mr Turner, is delighted with the performance of the boys this year.

"I would like to congratulate all the boys who achieved their personal best and many of whom exceeded them.

"I am proud of all at De La Salle for rising so admirably to the challenges faced.

"Every student who did their best should be celebrating today."
