Ports of Jersey has announced that the airport's Departures Lounge will be getting a revamp 'very soon'.
Following months of work with stakeholders, Ports has decided to take the steps to transform the hall.
The Departures Lounge is 30 years old and in need of 'much-needed investment'.
Upgrades include building a mezzanine, new restaurants and bars, the introduction of a Genuine Jersey shop and a children's play area.
CEO Matt Thomas says they have been working with various organisations to make sure the lounge is designed around passengers.
"We're going to have some amazing artwork that we're procuring with ArtHouse Jersey.
"There's a kids' play area that we're developing with Brighter Futures.
"It's going to be a really big revamp, and it's going to look cool. We really hope that islanders love it."

Mr Thomas says they want people in the airport to see characteristics familiar with Jersey.
"I've been lucky enough to work at airports around the world, and I think a lot of them look nice, and they're modern, but you feel like you could be anywhere.
"The very best airports in the world, those are the ones where you don't have to go outside to know where you are.
"Our is very much going to be a celebration of Jersey, and we're going to try and create a Martello Tower, there's going to be lots of Granite, might be some cows, you know, things that our stakeholders love about Jersey."
