The ice rink is finally set to return after three weeks of delays, but islanders will not be able to get the full experience just yet.
Skaters can, metaphorically, break the ice on 16 November 2024 for the first time since earlier in the year.
However, the rink will only be open until 4:00 pm for the first four days and then closed completely on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 November.
The Jersey Development Company says the early closing times are to 'ensure safety' when it starts getting darker outside.
It is due to a delay in the installation of the lighting rigging.
People who have booked the ice rink after the closing time will be offered to reschedule their skating sessions.

During the half term, the ice rink was supposed to be open daily from 26 October.
The new opening times for this week are:
- 9:30 am - 4:00 pm - Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 November;
- 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Monday 18 & Tuesday 19 November;
- Closed - Wednesday 20 & Thursday 21 November.
- 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Friday 15 November;
After the initial week, the times will return to normal:
- 9:30 am - 9:00 pm - Weekends;
- 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Weekdays.
The 30m x 30m rink will open until 23 February 2025 but shut on Bank Holidays.
One-hour sessions will cost adults £13 and children £9.
'Skate and Save' bundles are also available to purchase soon online or on the app.
JDC has also pledged to donate 50p from each ticket sale to a children's charity in the island.
