Havre des Pas Resurfacing work has resumed.
It was suspended last week because technical issues at the Ronez manufacturing plant meant asphalt couldn't be supplied.
Work that didn't need asphalt has continued since.
A government spokesperson says, as things stand, the project should finish before the end of this month as scheduled.
The work started on 10 January.

Concerns were raised in the last States sitting about the disruption this work was causing.
Infrastructure Minister Deputy Kevin Lewis said the work was planned in the early months of the year as traffic figures demonstrated that it was the quietest period for the road network and have the least impact on the bus network.
