Government House announces with 'great sadness' that Lady Valerie Ridgway has died peacefully.
Lady Ridgway passed away on the evening of 13 April, Saturday.
She spent five years in Jersey when her husband Andrew Ridgway was Lieutenant Governor.
During that time, from 2006 to 2011, the couple were Patrons of more than 100 charities in the island.
The current Lieutenant Governor Jerry Kyd and his wife Dr Karen Kyd have expressed their sympathies for Sir Andrew and his family.
