George Michael Monte De Ramos Castrudes has passed away in hospital after being rescued from a fire in Grouville.
Jersey Fire & Rescue attended the incident at a farm on Sunday 19 January at 7:15 am.
Mr De Ramos Castrudes had been living and working there whilst in the island.
A neighbour reported seeing flames from the farm and phoned the emergency services.
When the crew arrived the building was 'well alight' with firefighters using breathing apparatus to find the 37-year-old and bring the blaze quickly under control.

George Michael Monte De Ramos Castrudes was treated at the scene by Jersey Fire & Rescue before the ambulance crew took over and transferred him to the hospital.
The coroner's department is investigating this case as an 'unexpected death', meanwhile, the Fire Service continues to investigate the cause of the incident.
The Filipino national will be repatriated home and an inquest will be opened.
