Jersey Gas says investigations are continuing into what caused an explosion on Bagot Road on Thursday.
The road was closed for more than 24 hours after manhole covers were sent flying around 25ft into the air.
No-one was injured and the road has now re-opened.
A Jersey Gas spokesperson says:
"At this stage, investigations still continue and we will provide an update on Monday morning.
"We treat every report of gas leakage as a priority and we have been carrying out an extensive search of the local area for any gas readings.
"We will continue to work closely with the emergency services and with States departments to assist in finding the cause of the incident."
