An emergency exercise is taking place at Jersey Airport later.
It is the first time one has been run during operating hours.
Ports of Jersey says the airport fire crew and the island’s emergency services will be practising their response to a major incident.
Exact details of the scenario aren’t being made public so that is as authentic as possible for those taking part.
The test will be staged between 7.30-9pm.
Flights will continue as scheduled and passengers won’t be affected.
A Ports spokesperson says members of the public shouldn’t be alarmed, but should still give way to emergency service vehicles on the road as they would normally.
