A fire which tore through an artist's studio in Gorey could have been caused by a fault with an electric bike on charge.
Jersey Fire and Rescue Service believe that is the likely reason for the blaze on Mont de Gouray in St Martin.
Firefighters spent more than three hours tackling the blaze on Thursday morning.
One person suffered minor burns. Several neighbouring properties lost power.
