Jersey Police are looking for a woman who hurled abuse at a guide dog walker on Greve D'Azette beach yesterday lunchtime.
A woman in her 40s was walking between the Dicq and Millard's Corner slipways with her mum just before midday, when another woman, who appeared older, started shouting at them about their dog.
Police say the woman then tried to get the dog out of its harness by grabbing its legs, which the mum prevented.
It's then alleged she insulted the dog's owner for being blind.
This older woman is described as being very thin, with grey wiry hair and wearing a grey T-shirt with a black animal rights logo.
Anyone who saw what happened or knows the woman is asked to call police on 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
