Direct flights from Jersey to Southend revived

Southend, Essex

Islanders will be able to fly direct to Essex from 2026, as easyJet revives the route.

Passengers will be able to fly to and from the seaside town on England's southeast coast as part of the airline's summer schedule.

The first flight is set to take off in March 2026, and the airline will operate flights to Southend twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet UK Country Manager, says they are really pleased to announce a new route between Jersey and London Southend.

"We are committed to offering customers greater choice and exceptional value, always aiming to make travel easy, and we look forward to welcoming more passengers onboard next year."

Matt Thomas, Ports of Jersey CEO, says they welcome easyJet’s continued investment in Jersey and the introduction of this new Southend route.

"It will give Islanders and visitors greater choice and strengthen confidence in our future connectivity."

The London Southend route offers one-way flights starting from £49.99.

It joins existing routes to London Gatwick, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
