Cineworld has confirmed to Channel 103 that it's planning to reopen in Jersey 'when the government allows'.

The Waterfront multiplex has been shut since 18 March 2020 because of the pandemic.

Two reopening dates were given last summer, but the site stayed closed because of government restrictions.

Top Gun: Maverick, Space Jam: A New Legacy and The Suicide Squad are among new movies due out this summer.

Its UK cinemas will reopen in May, which is in line with UK government guidelines for lifting coronavirus restrictions.
