Jersey students have been spoken to after a youngster who allegedly took a street drug was taken to hospital.
No further information has been given, only that it has a similiar name to the prescription drug Xanax.
A government spokesperson says parents have also been updated, and they continue to work with police to keep the community safe.
"Any young people who are affected can access support, either through trusted members of staff within their school, from the Youth Enquiry Service, or through https://www.talktofrank.com/."
