It's not often babies need to do a DNA test to determine their gender, but it's not easy when it comes to the Linne's two-toed sloth!
The wait is finally over for islanders to know the sex of the baby sloth at Jersey Zoo.
And.. she's a girl!
The best method to determine the sex of a Linne's two-toed sloth is by testing the DNA, as there are no visible signs to hint at the species' gender until they reach sexual maturity.
Jersey Zoo was waiting for the results from Germany, after they sent her hair follicle to a specialist lab there.
She has also now been named as Jemma by some close supporters of Durrell, who chose a name which is personal to them.
She was born in January.
