Amazon has told Channel 103 that it is investigating ongoing issues some customers are reporting with ordering goods to be delivered to Jersey.
The retail giant is exploring complaints that items are no longer available to be delivered to their addresses.
This weekend's issues have also caught the attention of the Jersey Consumer Council, which says it will be looking into the issues and 'get to the bottom of it'.
Facebook queries started piling in over the weekend with multiple people starting threads about the issues they are facing, despite some being Prime members.

Has anyone else noticed that the majority of amazon goods now don't deliver to Jersey?
My husband and I place regular orders, same suppliers, now they ALL say they can't deliver here.
Seems like a recent change so guessing the hassle of placing on GST outweighed the value of orders so maybe amazon says we aren't worth delivering to?
Had a random look through odd items to see if I was just unlucky but nope everything says no!
Wouldn't be as annoyed if we could get stuff here but it's mostly things we can't buy locally.

'Subscribe & Save' users have noticed that items available in previous months will not be delivered this time.
Multiple Amazon customer service employees have been in contact with people and say that the company is investigating the claims and that it is a very unusual circumstance.
Some savvy customers have spotted that the issue can be bypassed if people change their address from 'Jersey' to 'United Kingdom' and keep everything else.
JCC shared this on its website:
"One Jersey resident has shared a tip with us that if you add United Kingdom to your saved address, the system will accept orders and still take the correct amount of GST off, so if you’re experiencing issues it is worth trying this."
