Perhaps you've already opened the first door of your advent calendar, but one Jersey school is asking us to get a bit more active than that this month...
Mont à l'Abbé School is inviting islanders to play, run, walk, cycle, or do any form of exercise, every day throughout Advent.
The challenge is accumulative, with the amount of activity increasing each day, either in time or distance.
The school is raising money for a new playground for its children with additional needs.
The target is £450,000.
They've already raised £350,000, so are hoping the Advent Calendar Fundraising Challenge gets them on their way to that final £100,000.
James Scott is working with them to help raise the money:
"Their current playground is a bit weathered, and the new kit will be state-of-the-art -art and specialised.
"A lot of their pupils rely on play to self-regulate, and the sensory needs of a lot of the pupils is massively important.
"It will cater for so many of their learners and their different needs.
"It will be a place of smiles and joy."
Today (1 December), they are launching the event at Le Quennevais cycle track.
