More than a third of Jersey's active coronavirus cases are among the under 20s.
That's according to Jersey's Deputy Medical Officer, Dr. Ivan Muscat, who is once again urging anyone with symptoms to get tested:
"As flu and COVID-19 are in co-circulation this year, it is easy to confuse the two viruses, so it is best to check and book a PCR test and isolate if you are experiencing any symptom until you receive a negative PCR result.
"If symptoms continue to persist after receiving a negative result you are recommended to book a second PCR test."
As of Thursday 28th October, there are 414 known active Covid-19 cases in Jersey.

Covid-19 symptoms include a high temperature or fever, continuous cough, loss of taste or smell, headaches, sore throats, and a runny nose.
Dr. Muscat says it's easy to confuse coronavirus with the flu; and 1 in 3 people with coronavirus don't know it.
He added that lateral flow tests are an effective way to detect asymptomatic cases.
Free packs are being given out to anyone over the age of 12 who registers online, with more than 4,000 signing up for the kits on the first day.
