States Work Invest In "Pitch Perfect" Robot

The island's sports pitches will benefit from the States Works' new robotic line marking machine.

The TinyLineMarker Pro X is a GPS-guided robotic line-marking machine.

The robot is capable of producing more than 200 customisable templates - sports pitches, athletic tracks, parking layouts and symbols.

Manager Richard Langmead this will save his team, who used to mark the lines out by hand, a lot of time:

“The robot is designed to make line-marking projects as streamlined and effortless as possible.

We have only recently started using the robot, but we are already seeing excellent results and it has made the initial setup and marking of the pitches much more efficient and accurate.

It means the team can carry out other jobs nearby while the robot does its work.”

Although it was purchased for education sites he says they will offer this service to other organisations around the island.
