It is 30 years since Guernsey Museum first hosted the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.
The global competition has been running since 1965 - with almost 60,000 entries from 117 countries.
The handpicked award-winning images are embarking on their annual international tour and will be at Guernsey Museum until 23 March.
Head of Heritage Services Helen Glencross says the photographs capture fascinating sights and animal behaviour.
“We are extremely privileged to be hosting this wonderful exhibition, produced by the Natural History Museum, again this year.
"This exhibition is always hugely popular, not only because of the spectacular imagery but also for its recognition of the wonders of the natural world and the challenges we face in protecting them."

The exhibition is open 31 January – 23rd March, 10am - 4pm.
