The famous RAF display team will thrill the crowds at the evening air display.

Organisers of the Guernsey Air Display have negotiated the appearance of the Red Arrows this 9 September.

The world famous aerobatic team will be joined by a C47 Dakota transport plane that took part in operations over Normandy the night before D-Day and in the weeks after the Allied landings.

Flying Display Director, Barry Neal, says the two are a coup for Guernsey:

"We know how much the Air Display means to the community, and securing aircraft of this calibre helps ensure the 2026 event will make for another memorable evening.

"The Red Arrows are always a huge draw with islanders and visitors alike, and the Dakota adds a unique sense of history and heritage to the evening, making for a really special combination in the skies over St Peter Port."

Other aircraft are now being lined up but as the display relies on individual and corporate sponsors, it is always looking for more backing.
