Several knives are among distinctive possessions taken in 'targeted burglary' of a Guernsey home.
Guernsey Police are appealing for islanders to look out for the stolen items, taken in from a vacant property in Castel.
The distinctive items include several knives, ivory models - including two elephants, an owl, a bookmark, and five male figures, a blue vase and a red vase.
Also missing is a multicoloured glass paperweight and a solid iron field telescope with tripod, assumed to be from the Second World War.

Despite enquiries with local and UK militaria dealers and auction houses, the items have not been traced.
Guernsey Police are appealing to islanders who may have seen these items, been offered or sold them, to come forward.
