There will be a Service of Thanksgiving for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Guernsey’s Town Church.
The service will take place at 11.30am on Saturday 17 September.
It will be led by the Dean of Guernsey, the Very Reverend Tim Barker and will mourn the passing of the late monarch and give thanks for her life and legacy.
The service will include hymns and prayers, and the National Anthem.
Seating for members of the public will be available from 10.45am on a first come, first served basis.
The service will be live-streamed on the States of Guernsey Facebook page for islanders who are unable to make it in person.
Churches around the island that have large screens are being asked to welcome islanders to watch the service together.
On Sunday (18 September), islanders are being asked to join a national one minute silence at 8pm.
