The Guernsey online deals and discount page, SuperSavySavers, has gained 3,500 followers in just 5 months.
Kat Gillespie and Sarah de Carteret founded SuperSavySavers in May 2024 to help islanders during the cost of living crisis.
Their site has expanded from a monthly supermarket price comparison to highlighting yellow sticker deals, restaurant offers, cheap recipes and more.
Kat says the initiative has grown organically, as their followers contribute to the page:
"There is a bit more of a community feel to it now.
Our followers are out and about, and they see a something and think SuperSavySavers might want to know about that, and they take the photo and message it through to us, which is brilliant."
With full-time jobs and families to care for, Kat and Sarah say they welcome any support for their passion project.
She says, although she is thrilled there is support for the site, it shows Guernsey families are struggling with price rises.
"I overheard a conservation in a local supermarket the other day. One lady said to another that she might not be able to send the kids to school for a couple of days this week because she could not afford to fill their lunch box.
It's a big reason why we are doing what we are doing, it's directly helping people."
