Both RPI and RPIX in Guernsey are now at 3.3%, below the UK's 3.8%.
Latest figures from the States of Guernsey show both RPI and RPIX, inflation minus mortgages, were at 3.3%.
This is the lowest they have been in four years and inflation in Guernsey is now point 5 of 1% lower than in Britain.

Housing contributed 1% to the figure, again emphasising that rents and mortgages are an issue, as demand outstrips supply for homes.
The States say the greatest increases over the past year have been in the tobacco group, which went up by 11% and the catering group, up 6%.
The latter covers restaurants, bars and take away food.
