Emissions dropped by 3.8% between 2023 and 2024 and have halved since 1990, although the report says as the method of measuring CO2 is refined, previous years should not be compared.
The North Side power station used to be a big contributor but since the cable link to France Guernsey Electricity's contribution is low, aside from when there have been cable failures.
Transport contribute 37.3% which is by far the biggest slice of CO2 emissions.
The car, followed by shipping and then aircraft make up this percentage.
Burning fossil fuels, whether by industry or at home, contribute 22.6%.
The majority of the emissions, 78%, are CO2.
