The Hanseatic Nature had planned to make a stop in Guernsey after visiting Honfleur in France.
The ship has been unable visit the Bailiwick 'due to weather' according to Guernsey Harbours.
The vessel and its 230 passengers were due to arrive in the island at 8am today (7 April).
It is now sailing straight to Coruna in Spain instead.
Two major lines, MSC and Princess, are not using Guernsey this year, citing issues with getting passengers ashore.
It follows the Guernsey Tourism Management Board's prediction that the number of cruise liner visits will decline in the coming years.
The Silver Endeavour is the next cruise ship in the 2024 calendar to stop-off in Guernsey. It is planning to arrive in the island at 2pm on Monday 8 April.
