Hundreds of photographs from local creatives to go on display this summer.
The first Island Photographic Clubs Exhibition launches on Friday (27 June).
It combines work from members of three Guernsey photography clubs: Spectrum, the Guernsey Photographic Club, and Prism.
There will be 90 prints and over 200 more photos displayed digitally at the George Crossan Gallery in the old Market Building in St Peter Port.
The idea is to inspire more locals to take up the hobby.
Andy Weatherburn from Spectrum says photography is an accessible but undervalued skill.
"Lots of people take lots of photographs, but where do they go? Very often, they go on social media and not many people see them.
We're trying to highlight the value of printing photos, putting them on the wall in your house or sending them on to friends.
"Although the members do very well in the Eisteddfod photography section, we thought it would be a good idea to raise awareness in the local community, and the best way to do that, we thought, would be to put on an exhibition of the kind of photographs that we all produce."
The exhibition, which will run until 26 July features local landscapes, travel photography, stylised visual art and portraits of people.
Andy hopes it will become an annual event.
