Four jailed for importing Ketamine into Guernsey

Guernsey's Royal Court has handed jail sentences totalling more than 21 years to four people for supplying Ketamine.

The Royal Court heard that on 19 August 2024, Anthony Wolf Jenkins (31) and Mollie O’Connor (29) arrived into Guernsey from Exeter.

Customs officers questioned them and they said they were here to celebrate Jenkins' belated birthday.

A search and then a chemical test of their belongings found traces of controlled drugs and they were arrested.

The pair were taken to the Princess Elizabeth Hospital for a CT scan, and four packages were found concealed inside them containing a total of 220.94 grams of Ketamine.

Evidence from their mobile phones showed this was not their first time importing the Class B drug into the island - they had both done it a number of times in 2024.

Jenkins was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months imprisonment, while O’Connor got 4 years and 10 months.

Phone analysis also identified that Rocco Guilbert (22) and Rory Johnson (24) were involved in the operation - both refused access to their electronic devices, which resulted in additional charges.

Guilbert was sentenced to a total of 5 years imprisonment, and Johnson received a prison sentence of 5 years and 3 months.

Guernsey Police say internal concealment of controlled drugs is dangerous and 'could easily be fatal'.
