Varied entertainment line-up in Guernsey this bank holiday weekend

Live music, a Seafront Sunday devoted to the Animal Shelter and a hill climb are all on the menu.

The early May Bank Holiday is the unofficial beginning of Guernsey's outside events.

In St Peter Port, Guernsey's Animal Shelter will host the second Seafront Sunday of the season.

It's a fundraiser and awareness raiser for the work of the GSPCA, which is building a new multi million pound animal hospital.

On the other side of the island, the first Cobo Balcony Gig of 2026 will keep the crowds entertained.

Local cover band The Vinyls are on stage from 3 followed by a Queen tribute act.

The performances from Cobo Bay Hotel begin at 3pm.

On Bank Holiday Monday, the Guernsey Motorcycle and Car Club have their second hill climb up the Val des Terres with the hill closed between 7am and 6pm.
