St Peter Port's harbour terminal has new retail and dining facilities.
Brittany Ferries has invested £100,000 in a new café, vehicle check-in area and St Peter Port Harbour's first duty-free shop.
Guernsey Ports' Commercial Development Project Manager, David Buddery, says the shop is well stocked with familiar local brands.
"Between 15% and 20% of the range is going to be local.
"We’ve got blue bottle gin, we’ve got some fudge, some local teas, and the plan is to extend the range as well."
"We're going to have the Islands Unlimited vessel, the Manche Illes vessel, potentially in the future DFDS, but this is for the people going through this terminal at the moment, which is going to see a massive increase with the Brittany Ferries sailings."
Joelle Croc, Brittany Ferries' Director of Customer Experience and Onboard Sales, says they worked quickly to improve the passenger experience.
"We were informed by Ports of Guernsey that they were opening this concession in December 2024, and of course, we decided to respond to the tender.
"It was ambitious planning because Guernsey Ports asked that we would operate by the end of May."
