Guernsey teams have taken both the wins at the de Putron final this year.
Year 6 and year 8 teams from both islands competed this week in the final of the educational quiz.
It's after they won their respective regional heats earlier in the month, and gathered at Jersey Museum for the showdown on Tuesday (24 March).
Guernsey's Elizabeth College Junior School came out on top of the Year 6 teams, with Jersey's St Mary’s Primary School finishing as runners-up.
Les Beaucamps High School won out of the Year 8 teams, with Victoria College coming second.
The students were quizzed on “Legacies That Last”, focusing on the trailblazing and iconic figures and phenomena that have influenced our world throughout history.
Rounds included questions about maths equations, music and art masterpieces, current affairs, history, literature and 'maps, myths & molecules'.
Last year, there were overall winners from both Jersey and Guernsey.
