Fares will go up in late March to maintain the balance between States funding and passenger contributions.
Since January 2022, the standard Guernsey bus fare has risen in stages from £1 to £1.70 - a 70% increase in 4 years.
Environment & Infrastructure says the latest 10p rise follows a public consultation and will help balance passenger contributions with government funding.
The States contribute well over half of the running costs.
Several other bus fares will also increase from 30 March.

E&I says that the responses to a separate public consultation on proposed bus route changes are still being considered.
These would see some routes expanded and others, like the P2, cut, to put more buses where there is greatest demand.
