The moors of Yorkshire and Cornwall are geographically far apart, but Dr Setara Pracha reveals links between the landscapes of du Maurier’s novel of ship wreckers—Jamaica Inn —and Emily Brontës’ eternally Wuthering Heights.
As part of her research for the Daphne du Maurier Handbook (coming 2027, OUP), Setara invites you to join her for an evening of gothic locations, exploring the ‘infernal’ world of Cathy and Heathcliffe and misty Bodmin Moor, the setting for Jamaica Inn.
