Dementia Jersey's Trek the Albanian Alps

Dementia Jersey is inviting islanders to take on a once‑in‑a‑lifetime trekking challenge in the Albanian Alps from 2–10 October 2026. The route explores the unspoilt wilderness of Valbona National Park, including the famed Valbona Pass - a historic trail linking remote valleys surrounded by the dramatic Accursed Mountains. The trip also includes time in Shkodra and Tirana, offering a blend of adventure and cultural discovery.

The cost is £300 on booking and £2,099 eight weeks before departure, with a minimum fundraising target of £1,000 per person. Prices are based on a group of ten and will decrease with additional sign‑ups; the fee includes return flights from Jersey, accommodation in guesthouses, and meals as per the itinerary.
