Why does my car radio keep jumping?
Some digital car radios have a setting called 'Service Following' turned on by default.
This allows it to automatically switch back and forth between FM and DAB+ versions of a station depending on which has the strongest signal - great in theory, but because DAB+ runs slightly behind our live FM broadcast, it can cause stations to sound like they are skipping or repeating when your car switches between FM and DAB+.
Check your car's handbook or manual for instructions to turn off 'Service Following', or you can manually tune to our FM frequency rather than using the car's built-in presets.
