Crews from Jersey Coastguard and Jersey Fire and Rescue were launched.
Two people and their dogs were caught out by the rising ride at La Rocque this afternoon (8 March).
A 4x4 from Fire HQ and an inshore rescue boat reached the casualties before the rocks they were waiting on became covered by the incoming tide.
The two people said they were unfamiliar with the island and its large tidal range.
No one was injured.
Jersey Coastguard and Jersey Fire and Rescue are urging islanders to check the tides before venturing out on the rocks.
