Hundreds of runners are donning their running gear today to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The Race for Life, which men are able to take part in for the first time this year, gets underway at 11am from Les Jardins de la Mer.
Money raised from the races in Jersey and across the UK will help to fund the cancer research centre based at Southampton General Hospital, where several islanders go for treatment.
Cancer is the main cause of death in Jersey, accounting for 34% of all deaths on the Island.
