Residents in Grands Vaux have reported finding crossbow bolts in a children's play area in Grands Vaux.
One man was arrested on Wednesday morning (18 September) by armed police.
The force said he was detained by firearms officers 'as part of a planned arrest'.
Police have confirmed to Channel 103 that 'a number of items were seized and secured' as part of their investigation.
Officers have been going door-to-door, visiting homes in the area to provide reassurance.
The man who was arrested has since been released on police bail.
