No main roads blocked following Storm Benjamin

All main roads remain passable this morning as teams undertake clear up.

There are reports of 10 trees down across the island - mainly in the north - but all main roads remain passable this morning.

Debris, including branches, and localised road flooding due to blocked drains, mean islanders are being asked to take extra care when driving or cycling

Storm Benjamin brought gusts of up to 60 miles an hour overnight and is continuing into the morning.

Teams are out undertaking a clear-up.

Islanders are asked to call Infrastructure and Environment on 01534 445509 with any reports.
