Marina Pontoon Project Aims To Finish By Christmas

Work is progressing to install new pontoons in the south west corner of St Helier marina.

The pontoons are being assembled at La Collette Boat Park and will be floated into position.

Wall guides are being craned in, with the first pontoon due to be in place at the end of October.

The project is going to increase capacity and create space for future accommodation pods, if planning permission is granted, and is on track to be completed by Christmas.

Events and Projects Support Manager Kim Gilbraith says the project is a great community investment.

“We’d like to thank users of the area for their understanding while the project is underway. Ports of Jersey is proud to contribute to the growth and improvement of St Helier Marina for residents and visitors alike.”
