A 39-year-old man has been jailed for possessing thousands of pounds worth of heroin with intent to supply.
6.31g of the drug, digital scales with heroin residue on, and plastic wraps were found during a search of James Harris' home in October 2021.
He also pleaded guilty to having possession or control of criminal property, after police also discovered more than £3,500 in cash.
Around £1,200 of that was found tucked into the waistband of his trousers when he was arrested.
The heroin has been valued at between £6,300 and £9,450.
Harris, from Essex, was sentenced to four years and nine years behind bars in the Royal Court today (Thursday 7 July).
"We work hard to keep our streets free from drugs, and we’ll do our utmost to ensure those who deal in illegal drugs are put before the courts." - Detective Constable Juliette Morris.
