A man (35) has appeared before Jersey's Magistrate's Court charged with attempted murder.
Liam Carmody, from Doncaster, is alleged to have stabbed another man last Thursday evening (24 March).
The alleged offence occurred in the rear car park of the Ambassadeur Hotel in St Clement at around 6pm.
Mr Carmody has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded in custody until Friday 27 May.
The victim, who is in his early 30s, is in a stable condition in hospital.
