A man has been arrested on suspicion of a string of motoring offences after a ‘serious crash’ on Queen's Road.
A silver BMW X5 and a black Toyota Yaris collided just before 10pm last night (9 July).
The Yaris driver was cut free from his car and was taken to hospital where he is in a stable condition.
Police arrested a 38 year old man later that night at his home address on suspicion of numerous offences, including dangerous driving and failing to stop and report a collision.
Two properties on Queensl’s Road have been damaged, with several walls knocked over and metal railings bent.
