Love Island could be filmed in Jersey this year, according to a national media report.
The Mirror newspaper is reporting that producers have selected Jersey as a back-up option if the popular ITV show can't take place in Majorca as planned because of coronavirus travel rules.
Contestants looking for love usually jet off to sunny Spain for the reality TV series.
It had to be cancelled last year because of the pandemic, but it's been reported that the show will return in 2021.
The eyes of the world have been on the island in recent months after The Real Housewives of Jersey was broadcast on ITVBe.
When contacted by Channel 103, ITV representatives declined to comment further.
A Government of Jersey source said:
"Many couples have found love in Jersey in the past and we would be happy to welcome more in the future."
