Despite this season not starting too well for Jersey's rugby union scene, Jersey RFC's head coach says this weekend's win is 'absolutely fantastic'.
Jersey RFC won all but one match this season and dominated the Regional Two South Central of London and Southeast Division table.
The club's success has been rewarded with a promotion to Level 5, which, as it suggests, is five tiers down from the Premiership.
Myles Landick, the Head Coach, says the main focus now is to keep rugby going in the island.
"We've got so much local talent in the island, we want to make sure that they keep having those opportunities to play as much rugby as possible.
Certainly for the foreseeable immature rugby remains at the forefront and as a priority for Jersey rugby, at this time."
