RPI has risen by 0.3% in the three months to June 2025.
Tobacco, travel fares and leisure services - entertainment, sport, and off-Island holidays - are some factors driving the Retail Prices Index (RPI) this quarter.
The rate of inflation now sits at 2.6%, which is still 2.4 percentage points lower than June 2024 (5.0%).
RPI is also 1.5 pp lower than the UK.
Housing played a part in slowing RPI, with a larger price decrease (-1.4%) than reported in March 2025.
