A truck full of aid for Venezuela, from Jersey, is now in London, ready for the next stage of its journey.
Venezuelan islander Mariano Ferreira started the appeal for aid items after dual quakes devastated the country - killing family and friends - and has said there are 'not enough words' to thank our 'incredible community' for coming together.

Speaking in a video online, Claudia Alves, who accompanied him and the van to the UK drop-off point, says they are delivering it to a company that will handle direct transport to Venezuela - Lonebox Express.
She also thanked DFDS, which she said has saved them £1,200.
She said that when they heard the trip was for humanitarian aid, they donated the van ticket to get from Jersey to the UK.
