Inflation has fallen to 5% in the three months to June 2024.
A few groups have helped to bring down the rate of price rises, with housing being the most notable contributor.
Inflation in that sector now sits at 4.9% (down from 11%).
The price of alcohol is also increasing at a slower pace (decreasing by 0.5%).
Catering has been another aiding factor, falling by 2.8%, and household goods have fallen into the negatives, at -0.3%.

Tobacco is still the highest contributor and has not budged from 12.2%.
Leisure services have also increased from 9.4% to 10.7%, and fuel is up by 2.3%.
Jersey's inflation is still lower than Guernsey, which sits at 5.3%.
The UK's Consumer Price Index rose by 2% to 5.25% in the year to June 2024.
