Plants have been stolen from a community garden in Jersey.
GROW says thieves took a six foot tall potted fig tree that had been given to the charity and was being looked after by its volunteers.
The thieves also took two blueberry bushes and dug up a number of cosmos.
GROW has a smallholding in St Helier and works with schools, community groups and foodbanks.
In a post on social media, it said was 'devastated', adding, "Losing plants hurts, but losing trust hurts even more."
Sheena Brockie from GROW is asking anyone who sees new additions to an outdoor space that match was has been stolen to get in touch. She told Channel 103:
"It is just really bizarre.
"We are a charity. We grow for purpose and work really hard to do what we do. A lot of what we grow goes to the foodbanks.
"Yesterday was our first delivery of squash to the Salvation Army of this year's crop that we have grown for them.
"To have, on the one hand, things taken away by people stealing and to be giving (produce) away on the other hand, it was just a bizarre day."
It is believed the theft happened sometime between Saturday afternoon (15 August) and Tuesday morning (18 August).
Produce is understood to have also been taking from neighbouring allotments on parish-owned land during the same timeframe.
