Motorists are being warned of disruption in the east of the island when work to resurface Gorey Coast Road starts early next month.
It is expected to take around three weeks.
Leaflets are being sent to people living in St Martin, Grouville, St Saviour and St Clement explaining the work programme.
Resurfacing will start at the hairpin bend by Gorey Pier on 4th March.
It will move in sections towards the junction with Beach Road.
There will be road closures weekdays between 8.30am and 6pm, and lane closures at weekends between 9am and 6pm.
Signed diversions include a temporary one-way system.
Parking along the coast road is being suspended, and the buses will only go as far as Longbeach, with a free shuttle continuing to Gorey Pier and St Catherine.
